1. Who We Are

PageFox is operated by Palanisamy Krishnan, a sole proprietorship registered in India, trading as Kaiaan Labs. Palanisamy Krishnan is the operator responsible for the data practices described below. A sole proprietorship is not a separate legal person from its proprietor.

  • Proprietor: Palanisamy Krishnan
  • Trade name: Kaiaan Labs
  • Structure: Sole proprietorship (India)
  • Registered address: Kaiaan Labs, 13/47A, Pallapalayam, Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641103, India
  • GSTIN: 33AIIPP0634R2ZU
  • Privacy, data-rights, and legal contact: privacy@pagefox.co (compliance intake mailbox: hello@pagefox.co)

2. Data We Collect

Website Visitor Data (Tier 1 — No PageFox Cookies)

When someone visits a website using PageFox, we collect basic website interaction data. Tier 1 does not set PageFox cookies, but the widget may use browser storage for visitor or session continuity when available. This storage is per origin, so a customer's subdomains can have separate visitor identifiers:

  • Page URLs visited
  • Time spent on pages
  • Referrer URL and UTM parameters
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Approximate location (country/city from IP)
  • Visitor or session identifier generated by the widget

Chat and Lead Capture

Chat is treated as functional storage. If a visitor chooses to send a message or share contact details, PageFox may store the message, conversation context, and submitted or inferred lead details needed to answer, route, score, and follow up on that conversation regardless of analytics-consent state.

Enhanced Tracking (Tier 2 — Consent Required)

With visitor consent, we additionally collect scroll depth, click patterns, form interactions, and return-visit information for enhanced analytics where configured by the customer.

PageFox Website Analytics

We measure pagefox.co with the PageFox widget itself — the same first-party product described above, installed on our own site. It records the Tier 1 visit data listed above, and — if you choose to chat with us — the conversation and any details you share, on the same terms as the chat and lead capture described above. There is no third-party analytics tag on pagefox.co: no external analytics script is loaded, and no analytics or advertising vendor receives your visit. Your visit here is otherwise handled exactly as this policy describes for any website running PageFox — including the company-level context in section 4, which is derived by looking up network information with the enrichment providers we use to identify organizations. Because we run no third-party tracker here, pagefox.co asks for no analytics consent and shows no consent banner. Any earlier optional third-party analytics on this site, and the stored accept/decline preference it used, have been removed; a preference left in your browser from that period is no longer read and is safe to clear.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to provide AI-powered chat responses, infer company-level context where available through enrichment, score lead intent, and deliver notifications to our customers.

4. Company-Level Identification

For business visitors, PageFox may associate a visit with the visitor's company — for example, showing our customer that someone from a given organization viewed their pricing page. This company-level context is derived from network information and from business email addresses that visitors choose to share in chat. It identifies organizations, not individual people.

PageFox identifies companies, not visitors: it can tell you that an organisation visited your site, it tells you who a visitor is only when that person gives you their details in a chat or a form, and no setting or paid tier reveals the identity of a visitor who has not.

Were that ever to change, this policy would say so before any such capability were switched on, and every right in sections 5 and 6 would apply to it in full.

5. Global Privacy Control

PageFox detects and honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When a visitor's browser sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information: that visitor is permanently excluded from every lookup of personal details PageFox is able to make. This acknowledgment applies to all visitors, including California residents.

6. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Anyone may opt out of every lookup of their personal details and request deletion of personal data PageFox holds about them, regardless of where they live. Submit your request on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Opt-outs take effect immediately and permanently; deletion requests are completed within 45 days.

7. Data Retention

  • Unidentified visitor sessions (Tier 1): 90 days
  • Visitor sessions with lead or customer context: 12 months
  • Conversation transcripts: 12 months
  • Lead records: while customer account is active
  • Browser visitor identifier: refreshed on use and expired after 180 days of inactivity
  • IP enrichment cache: 24 hours

8. Your Rights

For privacy requests, contact privacy@pagefox.co. PageFox will route and respond to requests based on the data involved and whether PageFox acts as a controller, fiduciary, processor, or service provider for that data.

9. Governing Law

This policy and any dispute about it are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. This does not remove any right you hold under the data-protection law that applies where you live.
