[ 05 / 05 ]FAQ
Before youswitch it on.
Do I need to change my forms?
No. Enquiries sent through your site's own forms land in PageFox, with the pages the person read first. You can switch it off per website.
Which fields are never read?
Password, card, one-time code, ID and bank fields. Sign-in, account and checkout pages are skipped.
What if a visitor declines tracking?
Nothing from their forms is captured when they have declined analytics.
Does it read embedded form tools?
A form inside a frame served by another site is not read. Forms built into your own pages are.
Does PageFox find the company?
The company on the enquiry is what the person typed. Separately, PageFox identifies the company behind a visit where it can resolve one.
Is this allowed under privacy law?
PageFox is consent-aware, with retention, deletion and DPA-ready workflows. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and your consent setup; use your own legal review.
