Website visit insights (PageFox)
We use PageFox, a service run by Kaiaan Labs in India, to understand which organisations visit our website and to run our website chat.
When you visit, PageFox records the pages you view, when you view them, your browser and device type, and your IP address. On every visit it also keeps a random ID in your browser, so repeat visits can be linked. PageFox uses your IP address to estimate which organisation's network the visit came from. It does not tell us who you are, unless you give us your details in our chat or a form.
PageFox processes this data only on our instructions. Visit records are kept for 90 days and organisation matches for 180 days, unless a law requires us to keep them longer.
Some PageFox features wait for your choice in our cookie settings. You can opt out at any time at https://pagefox.co/privacy/opt-out, and PageFox honours your browser's Global Privacy Control signal. For questions or complaints, contact [your privacy contact]. If you are in India, you may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
[ 02 / 02 ]How to use it
Three small steps. Then you are set.
- Add the text to your privacy policy, under the tools you use.
- Add PageFox to your cookie banner as "Visitor insights". Saying no there turns off the features that wait for consent; the browser ID is still set on every visit (see cookies).
- Read our Data Processing Agreement and sub-processor list if your team needs them.
