Leadfeeder Alternatives: 4 Options Compared for Small B2B Teams (2026)

A practitioner comparison of Leadfeeder alternatives — Lead Forensics, RB2B, Albacross, and PageFox — with pricing verified as of July 2026, an honest breakdown of identification approaches, and a decision framework based on what your team will actually do with the data.

Quick answer

  • The best Leadfeeder alternative depends on what you do after identification: Lead Forensics suits enterprise sales teams with budget for quote-based contracts, RB2B suits US-only person-level workflows, Albacross suits EU-focused company identification, and PageFox suits small teams that want identification plus engagement in one tool.
  • PageFox combines company-level visitor identification, an AI chat widget with grounded answers, and lead scoring with transparent signals — installed with a single script in about 5 minutes.
  • PageFox also runs in passive mode: visitor identification with no visible widget, for teams that want the intelligence without on-page chat.

Why teams look for Leadfeeder alternatives

Leadfeeder (part of Dealfront) is one of the most established company-identification tools. It reads your website traffic, matches IP addresses to companies, and shows you which businesses visited and what they viewed. For a lot of teams it was the first proof that anonymous traffic contains real pipeline.

But in 2026, three things push teams to shop around.

  • Cost scaling. The paid plan starts at €99/month billed annually (€165 billed monthly) and the price tier rises with the number of companies identified. Pricing is also per website — three domains means three subscriptions.
  • Identification without action. Leadfeeder tells you a company visited. It does not answer that visitor’s questions, capture their email, or qualify them. You still need a chat tool, a form tool, and a scoring workflow on top.
  • The free tier is a preview, not a plan. The free version caps at 100 identified companies with 7-day data retention and no CRM integrations, which is fine for testing and hard to operate on.

None of that makes Leadfeeder a bad product. It makes it one specific shape of product: a standalone identification feed, priced by volume, that expects you to bring the rest of the workflow. The alternatives below each change one of those assumptions.

Lead Forensics: the enterprise option

Lead Forensics is the longest-running name in IP-based company identification and pitches a large proprietary IP-to-business database. Functionally it does what Leadfeeder does — reveal companies, show page paths, fire alerts — with an enterprise sales motion around it.

The defining trait is pricing opacity. Lead Forensics publishes no prices. You get a demo, then a quote based on your traffic volume, on an annual contract. Third-party pricing reviews report quotes ranging from a few thousand dollars a year to well past $30,000 — but those are anecdotes, not a rate card. If your procurement process can handle that, the product is capable. If you want to know the price before the call, this is not your tool.

Choose Lead Forensics over Leadfeeder if you are an enterprise team that negotiates contracts anyway. Choose almost anything else if you are a small team that budgets from a pricing page.

RB2B: person-level, US-only

RB2B is the loudest newer entrant, and its pitch is genuinely different: instead of "a company visited," it aims to tell you which person visited — name, LinkedIn profile, sometimes a work email — pushed to Slack.

The verified details as of July 2026: a free plan with 150 credits per month resolves at the company level only (RB2B removed contact-level resolution from the free plan in January 2026). Person-level identification starts on the Starter plan at $79/month, with Pro at $149/month and Pro+ at $199/month adding business emails and a deeper resolution waterfall.

The tradeoff is coverage. RB2B works on US traffic only, and even there person-level resolution covers a fraction of visitors. If most of your pipeline is American and your motion is individual outbound, that fraction can be valuable. If you sell into Europe, Asia, or anywhere else, that traffic is invisible to RB2B — which is why we wrote a full comparison of RB2B alternatives.

Albacross: the EU-focused option

Albacross is a Stockholm-built company-identification tool with particularly strong European IP coverage, which matters because most identification databases skew American.

Per current third-party pricing reviews (July 2026), published tiers run Starter at €59/month, Professional at €149/month, and Organisation at €375/month on annual billing, with monthly billing roughly 40% higher. Identified-company caps rise by tier (around 100 on Starter, 1,000 on Professional), and CRM integrations are gated by tier — Salesforce sits on the top plan. Confirm current numbers on albacross.com before buying; European vendors adjust EUR pricing periodically.

Like Leadfeeder, Albacross is a feed: it identifies and enriches, and expects your engagement stack to live elsewhere. Choose it over Leadfeeder if your traffic is predominantly European and you want intent data for an ABM motion.

PageFox: identification plus engagement in one tool

PageFox takes a different position from every tool above: identification alone is half a workflow. Knowing that Acme Corp visited your pricing page is useful; being able to answer Acme’s questions and capture the lead in the same session is the part that creates pipeline.

  • Company-level visitor identification, worldwide — see which companies are on your site and what they viewed.
  • An embeddable AI chat widget that gives grounded answers with sources from your own site content, so visitors get accurate answers rather than generic ones.
  • Lead scoring with transparent signals — you can see why a lead scored HOT or WARM, not just a number.
  • Passive mode — run identification with no visible widget at all, if you want the intelligence without on-page chat.
  • A single-script install that takes about 5 minutes.

Pricing is public: a free plan, Growth at $99/month, and Business at $149/month. That puts the paid entry point in the same range as Leadfeeder’s annual-billing price — but the plan includes the chat, capture, and scoring layer that Leadfeeder users typically buy separately.

Where PageFox is not the right choice: it identifies companies, not individual people, so a US-only team committed to person-level outbound should look at RB2B. And teams that need a large built-in contact database for cold prospecting are better served by Dealfront’s platform tier or a dedicated data vendor.

How to choose

Ignore the feature grids for a moment and answer one question: what will your team do within an hour of a high-intent company showing up on your site?

  1. If the answer is "route it into an existing enterprise sales process" — Lead Forensics or Leadfeeder, depending on whether quote-based procurement bothers you.
  2. If the answer is "send a rep a LinkedIn profile to work" and your market is US-only — RB2B.
  3. If the answer is "feed an EU-focused ABM list" — Albacross.
  4. If the answer is "we’re a small team; we want the visitor engaged, answered, and scored before they leave" — PageFox.

Whichever you pick, hold every vendor to the same standard: no tool identifies all your traffic, person-level claims are geography- and coverage-limited, and any match-rate number without a methodology behind it is marketing. Trial with your own traffic before you commit to an annual contract.

Frequently asked questions
